I was also wondering if it is okay to do medicals from a different doctor now. My earlier doctor was in VA and I dont stay there now.
anybody sharing their experience would be very helpful.
Thank you.
p.s the notice also says that from the date the office received my reply, it takes 14 days to process. is that the same for all of us who get RFE.
The doctor gave me the copy of medical form instead of the original. After I received RFE, I went to the Doctor's office and got the original one.
I suggest you call the doctor first. Usually they keep the copy of it.

14 days to process the RFE information or the rest of your case? I imagine it must just relate to the RFE info as there are people waiting months for approval after RFE has been submitted. Just curious....
I had similar RFE too (medicals). I went to a new INS approved doctor and got the whole medical done again, since I had moved to a different location. I verified everything with the doctor before he sealed the envelope. My attorney(FDBL) then included a covering letter stating why I had to redo the entire medicals again.
My case was approved within a week of receipt by INS..
Important: Have your attorney enclose a covering letter explaining why you had to go to a different doctor.
I am getting some hope now. I havent yet received wife's RFE. Hopefully its for the same.
I will go to a new doctor. Dont want to place my life and future in the previous one.
