AVM: Says additional information received on 07/23/02, and it will take between 365-500 days, and since the preliminary process is completed it will take about 400 days. Is it a common message for every RFE?

RFE notices mentioned that time of process will be anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months.

How long does it take on an average after RFE is received by INS?
I have seen some of my friends had their 485 approved in 3-4 weeks once the RFE was received.
 
Yes, 365 day message is common for RFE, but disregard it. On average, it takes 3-4 weeks for approval.

YOu got the most common RFE. Once you reply normally within 3-4 weeks case gets approved. 365-540 is common phrase in every AVM message. I think INS does not want people to call them often. I also got RFE and AVM message was similar. But case got approved in 3 weeks after reply to RFE was sent.

Why did you get this RFE? did you include this documents(paystubs, W-2, employment letter) when you filed for your I485 before?

you will be over with it in like 4 weeks (Top).
