My lawyer faxed me the RFE notices for my I-485 as well as my wife's I-485.
For my wife it is medical as she had incomplete medical due to pregnancy.
RFE Details for my case:
1. Submit an original letter on company letterhead from your current employer stating your date of hire, duties, remuneration and prospect of continued employment.
2. Please submit your Federal Income tax returns, including all schedules and Forms W-2 and Forms 1099, for the last two years.
3. Submit a copy(ies) of the Form I-797 or I-171C approval, notice(s) relating to any extensions of stay or change of nonimmigrant status that have been issued to you.
I used AC21 and switched job six months back and never informed BCIS with consent of my lawyer.
Matter of fact I worked as consultant for couple of years before joining my current employer. My designation changed from “Sr. Analyst Programmer” to “Sr. Software Engineer & Architect”.
Current salary + bonus exactly matches whatever I have in the labor approval.
To my surprise they didn’t ask for the pay stubs.
My lawyer specifically asked me to wait until she sends me the draft of employment letter before I attempt to take a letter on my own from my employer.
Questions to knowledgeable friends in this forum are
1. I e-filed my Income tax returns for the last two years but I kept a copy of the returns. Can I send these copies or I need to get them from IRS?
2. From your observation what is the probability of transferring my case to the local service center as I used AC21?
