Hi to all,

Our company lawyer received the RFE letter from the INS about a 1 1/2 months ago and up to now our lawyer hasn\'t replied to the RFE. I don\'t know if this is a delaying tactics on the part of our company, but I\'m really concern about our company and lawyer\'s behavior on this. What will be the best way to handle this issue? Anybody on the same boat? What will be the effect of delaying the RFE reply to my I-485 case? Please advice. I need your help guru\'s. Thanks in advance.

You only have 84 days to respond to RFE, if that line has passed and INS doesn\'t receive your RFE response, your I-485 application will be considered cancelled thus denied.

I think you should push the lawyer or ask your employer to push the lawyer. There\'s no excuse for such unnecessary delay.
