RFE confusion

As INS sends RFE there is a deadline assign to replay.
For example in my case RFE issued Nov/13/04 and the deadline is Feb/5/2005.
My attorney insists that the INS would not resume work in the case before the deadline no mater when we submit the replay Nov/20/04 or Feb/04/05 doesn’t make any different.
According to her INS have everything calendared
Any information to shear in this matter

That's not true...

My RFE was generated Oct -19 and the deadline date to reply was Jan 29 2005. I replied my RFE on Nov 12 and my GC was approved on Nov 29.

Your lawyer is dead wrong and I am surprised that she made that statement.
