RFE - but can't reply

I got RFE asking for either copy of efile or copy of stamped employer's tax return. My employer didn't do efile but made his tax return and physically mailed it to IRS. Hence doesn't have any stamp on his return.

He has called IRS to get copy of return from their file. But it is almost 2 weeks now and no reply from IRS. I got RFE almost a 2 months back but still waiting to reply.

Did somebody had this kind of situation.

Request for return transcript

Request for full tax return (form 4506) takes time..and fee too. But request for transcript is faster (form 4506T).

In 2001 I ordered my transcript, when I was filing for my I485. That's the last and first time I ordered. That time it took about two weeks.
