I saw the following statement on the VSC processing dates site

If you received a request for evidence and you responded more than 60 days ago and have not received a decision, please call our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Does this mean that after we respond to RFE, we should be getting some results in 60 days or else we can call them? Anyone in this situation?

Yes it is Fishy . . . .. . . . . . . .

I don't think USCIS means you can contact them ..

What it means.. if you sent an reply and you are not recieved any response from them ( like whether they recieved your response or not ) then you can contact.

However the standard msg.. always comes once they recieve your paper work... something like this :::::

On October 30, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

However .. i cast one vote on your comment.. why should they say "not received a decision" ... for this.. only Mr. Tom Ridge can aswer :D

have not received a decision

This phrase is really intriguing. I think I will try caling them if I do not get a decision by then. Anyway, they have now posted the date as June 2003. This is almost 6 months above my RD
