RFE About Medical-Immunization Doc.

Hello,
We have all got RFE today about Immunization Record , I just talked to Doctor's Office about that.I understand that we can Get the records for the kids But me & my wife are Indian born & we don't have that. lady at doctor's office recommends that if you don't have records then you have to take three shots again & it costs about $ 225/- Each person.
Does any one have similar experience. Please share with me.

First relax and don't panic, its common and normal RFE

It is assumed that u filed ur 485 without Medical . if this is the scenario than $$ sound reasonable. but only go to INS authorized doctor not to ur family doc.


If u have any records that shows u alredy have taken those shots+vacinces than YES that would save some $$. if not than I believe u don't have much choice at ur hand.

You may find some cheap in ur area all u need to call them and ask.

Note: Make sure if u go to same doc or new doctor, and u have/had reaction of skin test and X-ray is taken, make double sure they include the x-ray report along with ur medical I693 form, if u never have/had skin test reaction than no x-ray no x-ray report is required, so don't worry about it
Don't hesitate to ask them for ur copy for ur records before they seal the envlope.


If u already have submitted Medical with 485 year ago, u must go to same doc and ask for record if vacines+shots already taken, ur cost should be $0.
remember they can't denny to give copy of ur records ITS YOUR RECORDS .

Always keep copy of all doc in ur file. don't hesitate to ask copy for u.

We went to doctor yesterday, he told me that who file I-485, after july 2004 INS require detailed Immunization records. He asked for my self & wife , we didn't have that so we have to take form him on Monday( as he didn't have Vaccine in Stock & went to helath department they had long waiting line)

Also, When they fill medical record form for my wife he didn't check any of the Boxes for HIV & Sifflis test, so he will fill that form for us on monday.
Hope everything works out good on monday!!!!

Do ask copy of that Medical form + any attached docs, for your record .

Make sure they put all org doc before they seal it in front of u, don't hesitate to stand on their head.

Read carefully twice, before u leave Doctor office.
