Revoke I-140 by Employer scenario

Hi,

As most of us applied I-485 now, can our employer invoke (already approved) I-140 now without our knowledge ?. If yes, how would we know about it ?

Is it possible to check with USICIS about 'approved' I-140 status anytime ?

My attorney said no way we can know the status of I140 after approval.
I am also in the same situation. Some time back when i called USCIS they did not give me the answer, they asked me to contact my employer.
 
You would not get to know about this directly. When the I-485 application is being adjudicated, they will check to see whether the I-140 is still valid. If not, you should get a NOID. Sometimes they even deny the I-485. In this case you will need to appeal and get the case re-opened. You go out of status till the case is re-opened.

It is safer to maintain H1B, till the process is approved.
