My company C1 filed for an H1-B in Dec 2008, and it was approved and valid for 3 years (so should be still valid). I have a receipt number/case number for that H1-B visa. Although I was on an AOS at that point, but the company insisted in filing that H1-B as a "back-up" [just in case I-485 gets rejected]
In 2009 I went back to my country and now I have 2 offers one from company C1 and another company C2
Question: So, do I have to apply for a new H1B and wait till Oct 2011? or the above H1-B can be used-up/transfered to the company I chose to join?
Note: I was never out of status for a single day while I was in the US.
