Revalidation stopped

Apparently the revalidation has now stopped in the US and one needs to go back to their home country to do this, Can they go to Canada to get the visa stamped or is their home country the only option at this time?

Canada and mexico continue to be an option. But one should be prepared for longer waits for appointment.
