revalidation of H visa

just wanted to figure out if it is safe to send my visa papers and passport to St. Louis, MO. Has anybody tried this here. Or do you know of any body who has attempted this. here is the url to the revalidation link from gov <http://www.travel.state.gov/hlop.html#7>

I revalidated my H1B visa lot of times with in USA. These days it is better to get re-validated with in USA than waiting outside USA for long time to get the visa, it's more than one month wait time in most of the American Consulates in India (or any other country) due to sucurity check.

I'm thinking of doing this too.. if anyone has recently had H1B revalidated within the US, can you share how much time it took, any do's / dont's ?
