Just wanted share my experience at Chennai for H1B visa revalidation .
I have been in US for past 6 years and this is my 7th year extension.
I cam to India on family emergency hence I went for revalidation to chennai.
VA asked about my qualification which is non-CS Degree but he convinced after saw my 12 years experience letters .
During the interview, I told I work for Gov Agency after that he gave me 221(g) for additonal information. I told him I will provide your right now but he said he need email for all those questions. He replied there is no issue just send additonal information we will let you know as the info reached when I asked him what is the problem and explained him that my family in us and came on emergency.
I was under the impression that he will clear as soon as the mail reached him becasue most of those questions are not much relevent to my case.
After four days, I sent mail that when I would be able to get cleared . SAO replied it takes 3 to 4 years now I reached 4th week still I did not hear from them .
When I called customer service, each time they tell different time frame . One day they told it takes time as theya are waiting for some clearence. they did not tell what kind of clearence it is .they do not know how long other told 60 to 70 days and sao told 4 weeks .
I am wondering what would be the problem . Is any one got similar experience . I called state department also for finding if my case sent to them for clearence but they told me its pending with consulate please call them .
I am wondering what would be problem why they are not providing information.
Please share your openion and experience
