I like to return to the US after an absent abroad of over a year, I filed for reentry permit last time I was in the US over a year ago but I never heard anything from the immigration. I’m married to a US citizen who’s with me overseas. I know I could have lost my status as GC holder, Am I eligible just to visit the US not to live? What If I decide later that I want to get the GC back? Please help me

Tourist visa while married to a US citizen
Thank you for the link, I would like just to visit the US not to reside, can I just apply for a tourist visa at the US consult, given the fact that I'm married to a US citizen whose is living with me out side the US. I can't find an answer for this question any where

You can not have both. You have to give up your GC before you get your tourist Visa. Also giving up GC won't guaranty that you will get a tourist visa.
