Return ticket for b2 visitor

Hi,
My mother has interview at chennai consulate on may 19th. If she gets the visa i'll bring her with me during june. I have booked one way ticket from bangalore to SFO. I havent booked the return ticket. Reason being, after six months, she is planning to go to dubai, my sis's place, from SFO. I'll book the ticket from SFO-dubai, once she is in US. My question is, if she gets US visa, would she face any problems in the port-of-entry, since she doesnt have a return ticket?

It's very possible. Without a return ticket, we'll assume she does not plan on leaving. She'll need to explain the situation to the officer.
