Hi Ginnu, RealCanadian and Others,

Labor filed on Feb 2003 and approved May 2003.
140 has been approved on Sep 2004.
485 Applied Jan 2004.

So my PD is on what date ?

My question is where we should look for processing date. Is it PD basis or RD basis
If it is PD then what month my case will be come into process (Feb 2003 or May 2003) ?
If it is RD basis then why should I care about this PD ?

Could you please clarify my doubts ? Becaz when I called my attorney, he said those retrogression cocerns for those who are not filed yet. Not for who already filed 485. Is it true ?
 
Your priority date is February, 2003.

If your case is not adjudicated prior to 12/31/2004, and you are from India, mainland China or the Phillipines, and you are an EB-3 case, your 485 will not be approved/adjudicated until the priority date reaches February, 2003. Since you have already filed your 485, you will be eligible to work on EAD and travel on AP, you just will not receive your green card until the visa cut-off date reaches your priority date. Sit tight and be glad that you have already filed your 485!
