My AP was taken by the interviewer during the AOS process. She did not approve it because the security check was pending. She told us that we can retrieve the AP in an emergency if required because if she has the AP in file it will be easier for her to approve the AOS application once security check is returned rather than sending us a letter for AP , waiting for us to mail the AP etcc etc.... . She said we would need to make an appt thru infopass and come to the office to retrieve it. Anyone else has had to face similar situation. Please advise.
