Hi all. Looking for as much info as I can find.
My aunt filed an I-130 petition for her brother (my father) which listed my younger brother and I as his derivative children (ages 12 and 15). His petition was approved and he was granted LPR status and his green card in October 2009. When he went for his interview he asked if my brother and I could be 'processed' with his as at the time of CSPA we were both still under 21 - I'm now 28, my brother is 25. He was told no, so in October 2010 I filed an I-130 for both my brother and myself, on behalf of my dad (I handled the paperwork, paid fees, etc, he just signed).
I have the receipt from USCIS on both our petitions but current wait time for our priority date is about 8 years as we are now listed in the F2B category (we're both unmarried and no children). I have my visitor visa, my brother does not. I'd like to know:
Let me know if there is anything I left out or more info needed. Thanks!

- is it possible to apply for the retention of the original (my father's) priority date to be applied to both our applications?
- is there any success with this request?
- what steps do I take to initiate this?
Let me know if there is anything I left out or more info needed. Thanks!
