I was fired from my previous job after i exposed the company the discrimination act they committed.

as you well know jobs were so scarce after 9/11/2001.

We were notified by my company that layoffs will take place depending on seniority.Guess what happened it never was so.What they did was to lay off all foreigners some of whom were not supposed to be layed off and had some Americans who had lower seniority keep their jobs.

I brought it to the attention of the company boss,a couple of months later i was fired after they fabricated reasons to get rid of me.

To cut the story short i filed charges against my former employee with texas commission on human rights.

The case has been delayed after the investigator in charge of it resigned late last yr and it was assigned to a different investigator who up to now has done nothing about it due to the high volume of cases that were assigned to her.

All i`m thinking of is to get an attorney who can do the job on pro-bono basis due to financial constraint.

If any one of you guys can assist me in this regard how to find one,is more than welcome.

I will not let this company walk away with it, treating foreigners as rubbish.

You may want to call the Univeristy of Texas at Austin. They have a great law school and a great pro bono program.

Wow, my heart goes out to you Sessanga. I would call the ACLU (american civil liberties union). They must have a chapter in Texas since they need to deal with many racist cowboys there. I would also talk with minorty leaders and i would contact the minority caucus in congress. If you live in Texas, contact Representative Sheila Jackson. She is a wonderful woman who has a great record on immigrants/ rights. I believe she is the one who wanted to lift the cap on asylees. Good luck brother.
