Restamping H1B in USA

Hello All,
I just got my H1B visa stamped in canada for the first time. My H1B is expiring in Feb 2004. I am a Pakistani citizen which means I had to go through 3 week clearce to get the visa stamped. Could anyone tell me if I can get my visa restamped within US?

nimish555: I spoke to my company lawyer and she told me that I can get it restamped in the US. What is your source of information?

Yes, You can get your visa stamped in USA if your old visa is same as new one you are seeking and if your old visa has expired it should not be more than 1 year old.
