Response To RFE and AP

I sent the RFE for Letter of Employment on the 7th, they received it on the 9th, Do you guys know how long it should take until they approve it. Also I sent my AP 09-19-02 until since Nov, they have been telling me that the Officer is looking at it, I called today and they told me that it is with an office as of 01-06-03. So I'm just confused, does this mean it is going to be approved soon. If any one went through or going throught the same thing, please reply.
