I asked my lawyer about the slower processing at NSc with respect to VSC and what the AILA was planning to do about it. Here;s her response
"AILA has been requesting faster processing at all of the Service Centers, as they have all slowed down dramatically. The work is being done both through liaisons with the BCIS as well as lobbying Congress to provide additional funding and oversight to the immigration services functions at DHS. Note that we have historically seen Service Centers leap frog each other in processing times, so it is always possible that Nebraska will move ahead of Vermont in processing at some point. We will continue to provide any updates for processing on the MurthyBulletin and through MurthyDotCom should any breakthroughs develop"
