I made a case inquiry end of April and here is the response I received this week from UCIS:

"Your case will be submitted to the supervisor for review. Once a decision is made, you will be notified by mail."

Has anyone received this kind of response before. If so, how long did it take for them to make a decision after the response.

couple of questions

did you get ur secnd fp after the inquiry and their response. if so i thnk they have your file and should hear something soon

My case is very similar to yours. I did receive a standard reply for my status inquiry stating " Your case is pending. A request has been forwarded to supervisor". I have contacted the senator's office earlier this week for help.

I received a similar response about my Plastic card inquiry. My card had been returned undeliverable to INS by post office. I called the 1-800 number three times and requested to remail it..(My address might had been mispelled in the first envelope).
Then 3 weeks after my last call, I received the similar response and 2 weeks after that (yesterday), I received my Plastic card in mail..

I did my FP on April 10 (early). I made the case inquiry on April 27.
The online status changed on April 28, saying they received the results from FP.

I am wondering what does it means that the case is forwarded to the supervisor, when you make a status check.does it mean some thing a special things need to be done by the supervisor which can't be done by the officer or it's just a standard reply.

Don't worry about response.... this is generic .....
it seems that u are from SR country.... and they are waiting/delayed..... for ur name clearance..... inside their blah balh dept.... so be patient...

Good Luck
