I'd filed my I-485 in May'04. My case was filed in EB2 category. I work for big company in bay area (CA) with more than 10000 employees. My I-140 got approved in Jan'05. Since then i've contacted the uscis 3 times for the I-485 delay and each time they say that the FBI name check is pending. I've also sent an email to FBI asking for the status last month.Now, how should i go about expediating this . What is the procedure for contacting congressmen/senators for this issue. Any important phone numbers ? If any body got a format of a letter posted to them.
