B bhand11683 Registered Users (C) Apr 6, 2005 #2 depends on a lot of factors 1) if you have house, spouse or any other close residenttial ties in canada 2) if you have any canadian income 3) if you have informed your bank that you are a Non resident and they can deduct NR taxes from your account 4) given up Canada Medical plan and DL 5) filed a deprting date on your last year taxes informing CCRA that you will no longer reside in canada 6)Given up all your ties and imported your car etc from canada into the US
