Resident since date incorrect on plastic card

We recently got the plastic card from Texas INS. The Resident since date on it is 10/04/1996 (my prioririty date) although I am resident since 10/31/1994 and my wife is resident since 06/1997 (her card has the same Resident since date).
Do I have to inform INS?
I will appreciate your answer.

You resident since date should reflect either DOE (Date Of Arrival with IV visa) if you did CP or I485 approval date for AOS.

I suppose you need to tell them and get it corrected.
