Just got to know from Lawyer that, my original papers were sent on Dec 28th to VSC. Then it came back on the Jan 17th to my lawyer, saying that he had paid the wrong amount (it seems 100 dollars extra was paid for my daughter's case). Then it was resent on the Jan 19th and they recd it on the 20th. Now my case will be treated as a January 20th case or Dec 29th case? And how am I going to get affected bcoz of this date issue?

Please share your experience.

It will be treated as Jan 20 case. Use receipt numbers of this date to track your cases.

Ask your lawyer if he/she has recd receipt for cases submitted on Dec 28. Get it from your lawyer and keep it in a safe place.
