Rescheduling the FP date--URGENT

Hi all,

I am going to india on 19th FEB. what is the procedure to reschedule the FP date to a earlier date. Can i just walk in with the documents and proof of my travel to India.

you will have to send the fp notices to the ASC mentioned in the form

You can call INS and explain you position with proof. Or as I checked the other posts some have gone before the scheduled date and looks fine. You can try that, but not too sure, since I don\'t have any experience.

I just got the e-mail from lawyer about FP Notice received by them .

I am traveling to India during that time. IS it possible to postpone it by 2 weeks. If yes can anybody who has the similar experience give me the exact procedure. I have gone through the postings here and here are the suggestions I read , but not sure which one works best -

1. Go any following wednesday within 8 weeks of scheduled date
2. Go before the scheduled date
3. Call INS Vermont center to reschedule it
4. Call local INS OFFICE AND RESCHEDULE IT
