Rescheduling Pingerprint appointment

Hi folks,
I received Fingerprint notification from INS for August 15, 2001.

Can I reschedule this appointment earlier?

Do I need to request for rescheduling the appointment earlier? At the bottom of the notice it says REQUEST FOR RESCHEDULING Please reschedule my appointment for the "next available" _ Wed afternoon or _ Sat afternoon.

Will it accelerate the remaining processing if I can give the fingerprints earlier then the date in the notice?

I doubt you can do that.

You could try walking in and post your experience.
