Rescheduling interview-Please help!!! NY

A couple of days ago I received a letter stating that i failed to appear for the interview that was held on Aug. 23. (I never received the actual letter with date and time of the interview. I guess it was just never mailed out or lost in the mail) I went to the Federal Plaza to file appropriate papers for the rescheduling of the interview date and yesterday sent a letter to them asking the same favour (to reschedule interview). Now I am supposed to wait. Please share any information that you have regarding similar experience.
Or just post the next interview dates in NY. It Will be very helpfull. If my letter will be lost in the mail again I can just go to Federal Plaza and make sure that my interview will be rescheduled to that date. :(

The Dallas DO "descheduled" my interview because they lost track of my paperwork. They sent me a notice telling me they'd let me know when they would reschedule it. That was in April. I hope you have a better experience.
 
Thanks, I hope it will be faster. I am praying that i will get my interview scheduled for November. Let's see.
