I am waiting for FP appointment letter. I have to go to India for 2 months on a business trip in last week of Spetember. I have talked to my attorney about the options, in case I dont get FP letter by the end of September.
According to my attorney FP appt can be rescheduled in one of the following ways.
1. USCIS will send a copy of my FP appt to my Attorney's office (99%). My attorney can reschedule my FP appointment on my behalf.
2. In case my attorney dont receive the copy of FP appt, I should have one of my friends check my mail frequently. He should send a copy of the FP letter to attorney's office so that they can reschedule the appointment.
I wanted to get your expert opinion on this.
Is it possible to reschedule my FP appointment by my attorney? Has anyone done this before?

I was able to check the status of EAD and AP in USCIS website. But I was unable check my 485 status using the WAC number. Does anyone know why I am unable to check the status?
