Rescheduling Finger print in MD help.

I have been Scheduled for finger printing in last week of September at WHEATON ,MD.

I would like to Reschedule my fingerprinting date.

1. Should I go personaly and request
Or I should sent the rescheduling request by post

2.If I send by post what proof I will have that I sent a request to postpone my Finger printing date, becaue if you do not go for fingerprinting date I-485 is supposed to be abondened.

What is the best option for me?

After postpone of Finger printing in how many days I can expect my new FP date.

I don't think u can postpone the FP(VSC).

Those days are gone, atleast on my FP notice it says tht FP cannot be postponed and need to be done within the 90 day window or else consider u'r 485 abandoned.


Any anybody, postponed their FP's recently under VSC.

My Finger Printing Notice is also from VSC
But on my FP Notice they have given the Time and Date and Location
On my FP notice it us written that " IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DO SO COMPLEATE THE BOTTOM OF THIS NOTICE AND REURN THE ENTIRE ORIGNAL NOTICE TO THE ADDRESS BELOW, RESSCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL DELAY YOUR APPLICATION, IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AS SCHEDULED BELOW OR FAIL TO REQUEST RESHEDULING,YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ABONDENDED

at bottom I have:

REQUEST FOR RESSHEDULING
PLEASE RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT FOR NExT AVAILABLE

DAY ... Afternoon

INS can not gurantee the day prefred but will do so to the extent possible.
Upon Reciept of your request you will be provided a new Appointment notice
Please mail your Request to

INS.....

Yes we have different FP notices. I don't know why mine would be different. Maybe because of different state?
