Rescheduling ASC appointment

I got an ASC appointment notice for my wife but she is out of country for next one month, I am planning for rescheduling her appointment. She has done finger printing twice and priotiry date is not current so far. Please share your experiences on rescheduling ASC appointment.
Can I request (Specify in request letter) to reschedule appointment after one month or so.
 
My attorney rescheduled it for me last year when I was on vacation as he also got the same notice. He postponed for almost a month because I informed him about my India trip.

Now we just received 3rd FP for spouse and there was a check box to reschedule it on the notice but we are not planning to reschedule it. Please keep a copy for your records. I don't think there will be any impact on rescheduling it (as per my attorney) and I would specify the reason.
 
We also postponed my wife's appointment twice and each time they rescheduled it after two weeks of receiving the re-shedule notice from us.
