Reschedule of interview date to earlier to the current appointment

Dear Madam/Sir,

I got the B1 visa interview date at Channai Consulate in October and
I would like to reschedule it to earlier date i.e. in July,
for this Can i use Reschedule option or I need to Cancel my Current appointment.
I would like to know the procedure.

Your responce is appreciated.
