Required to produce "Affidavit of support" in court proceedings

Hi All,

I know this is not the right forum to post this question. But I have seen many immigration gurus here who may have the answer my question.

My friend had filed visitor visa petition for her mother in 2004. Her Mother is now in USA living with her. Now for divorce case proceeding she is required to produce "Affidavit of support". She does not have it because she has submitted in Mumbai Consulate, Can she get it from INS ? If yes, who should she write to ? Where should it be sent ?

Alternatively, can other party's Attorney write/ subpoena INS for providing this document.

Any comment / suggestion highly appreciated.

Other than her, is someone else can file FOIPA request. In other words can other side attorney subpoena FOIPA ?
