I went for the CP interview in August at Chennai and I got married early first week of September. I included my spouses name by sending in the Birth and the marriage certificates. I returned back to the U.S. after I got confirmation from the consulate that they included my spouses name and that I can travel.
Consulate notified me via email that my spouse will get the interview in Nov or December.
Now I am preparing documents to send for my spouse's interview from U.S.
1. I-134
2. Job verification Letter
3. my w2 copies for 3 years (originals were kept by the consulate when I attended the interview).
4. 1040 tax return copies
5. Pay stubs (3 yrs)
6. Bank statement
Question is:
Do I get the Job verification letter or Job Offer letter ? I carried Job offer letter for my interview and they kept it too. Which ever it is, does my employer need to get it notarized.
Anything else I'm missing and any other suggestions.
