Requesting PP for EB1-EA efiled at TSC

Hi all,

I had mailed the supporting documents for my EB1-EA to TSC on Saturday. The USPS says that it was delivered today morning (Tuesday - 03/13/2007 at 5:51 AM). The time seems to be weird. Anyway, I also got a LUD on 03/11/2007 (a Sunday) as I see that some friends have also got similar LUDs on the same Sunday.

My question is, assuming that the USPS has indeed delivered my supporting documents, can I request PP now. Or else, should I wait for my online status to change to "supporting documents received" and then request PP. Does this status appear at all? Could anyone give valuable inputs?

Thank you.

Hey dgrajan,

My 485 was delivered at 3.30 A.M (USPS - priority). And yes they got it. So do not worry about it.

I filed for PP on Feb 6. I sent supporting info on Jan 23rd, had a LUD on Jan 28th..but the message did not change to "supporting documents received; or anything indicating the same.

Best of luck.

Pradeep
I-140 E-filed 01/17/07
I-140 RD 01/18/07 (TSC)
I-140 PP RD 02/06/07
I-140 AD 02/14/07
I-485 mailed (to NSC) 03/05/07
I-485 received (TSC) 03/09/07
I-485 LUD 03/13/07

My EB1A supporting material was also delivered in the early morning (about 5 am). And there was no such message "supporting material received". I actually called the USCIS service # and was told that if they do not receive my supporting material, they will issue an RFE.

So don't worry and good luck!

Don't worry about the timing the package was delivered. Even in my case the supporting documents package was delivered at 5.15 AM. Yes it is weird.

Good luck with your PP.

Thank you Pradeep07, gc_er and madgu-gc2005 for your valuable suggestions. I have just requested PP for my I-140. I have another question in this regard. I sent the supporting documentation to the Mesquite address. Now, after I requested for PP, it said in the confirmation receipt that I should send the supporting documents to the Dallas address. Could you guys please tell if they mean the supporting documents for my efiled I-140? Will that be a problem, because I already send them to the Mesquite addres. Thank you very much in advance.

How did you request your PP? if you want to send this request via postal service send a check to this Dallas address along with the I-907 form ....if it by online you do not have to do anything as you paid $1000 via credit card .. I am not sure for the online filing of I-907.... BTW your supporting documents went to the proper place .. do not worry about them ... good luck

The Mesquite addess is fine. That's where we had sent ours. Then did upgrade to PP. You already got the confirmation receipt for PP? That was fast.

I did the I-907 online. So, there was a confirmation receipt for the I-907 as there was one for the I-140. So, I need not worry, right. I paid the $1000 online via credit card. Should I have requested PP through post, rather than online. Just a little (actually a little more) worried. Thanks for your helpful ideas and comments.

I did not know you could request for PP for I-140 (EB11) online. It must have changed recently then.

My supporting material for e-filed EB1A 140 was sent to Mesquite addess according to the instructions on confirmation receipt generated online. My PP was requested 1 & half month later by my attorney by mail, but I don't know which address he used.

Maybe you can call the PP service # (1-866-315-5718) to clarify the mailing address for PP service.

Good luck!
