Requesting FP for March 2002

What does it mean: "Current filing date for requesting Fingerprint scheduling for I-485 cases" ???
 
Does it mean I can send fingerprint request to TSC ?

I have my 485 applied on March 2002, after the receipt notice, nothing happend on my case, not even a finger print. I am on
my third EAD and AP now.

This Monday I went to Miami local INS office asking if my case,
a lady checked the database and said TSC has ordered fingerprint claim on March 2002. And I could not believe it.
But she rechecked and confirmed it.

Should I send a mail to TSC asking for finger print now? Or
I should just wait?

Hi Guys

My opinion : please send a fax to TSC, and request for FP, If you call 1-800 number will not work, they will just read from the website, processing 09/17/2001 .......blah, blah.

Guys,

What's the fax number of Texas center for fingerprint requests?
I've requested my attorney to ask for a fingerprint 3 months ago. Her paralegal called Texas service center but was told that they will issue the notice when time comes. Texas service center operates in a strange way that all my colleagues and myself, who filed I140/485 around 10/02, have not yet received fingerprint requests. All colleagues filed before 08/02 and after 12/1/02 have got their fingerprints done long time ago.

I am in the exact same situation..filed 485 on Oct 2002 and not received FP notice yet ...what should one do...?

Can someone post a sample fax/letter for requesting fingerprints? I never wrote to those gov. agency before, but thinking about the dates, I think I should start doing that...
