Hi,
Just done with my EB-2 interview in U.S. Embassy Manila last Sept. 26, 2008 (CL and etc.. are already approved).
And the IO said everything is in order, no problems with all the papers ang Documents. BUT..., She said (IO) i cannot give you a Visa right now, there's no Visa Available for this moment....( Me and my wife were shock about that ), IO said the next window will explain about it. So, we went to the next window, the other IO said that our EB-2 Visas will be REQUESTED. But its been 5 weeks already but i haven't recieve my Passport back with the Visa stamp on it... Is there any problem with my visa? How long does the REQUESTED VISA availble??? :confused:need help or info about this.

Your passport got put down somewhere and they forgot about it. You'll have to call them up to find out what happened, emphasizing that they've been holding your passport for 5 weeks.

tnx for the reply sir,

its been 8 weeks now, i called again U.S. Embassy Manila and they said just wait, maybe this week my VISA will come out.

I hope :)

Any more comments about this? thank you

My Visa EB2 update.

last Nov. 25, 2008 - Feb. 25, 2009 they said my case was reviewed.
Now, i've consulted my status here in U.S. Embassy Cebu, Philippines. One of the Consul Officer called the IV.

Result:
Case Review - Done, He said I'm Cleared (FBI check, background check and etc... i think it means i;ve pass the case review )

Problem:
My Medical Exam result was expired since its pass 6 months already.

Medical Exam Date: Sept. 16, 2008
Interview Date: Sept. 26, 2008

And the they told us that we have to retake the Medical Exam and the Interview. So i have to call the U.S. Embassy to schedule my Medical exam and interview Date again and will pay again the $230 each ( me and my Wife )

The Delaying of my Visa Status is their Fault and i'm the one who gonna pay again all the FEEs.

About the interview:

Do they have to ask me again like my 1st interview???
I have to wait again for my Visa to be requested???

Comments and suggestions are welcome. thank you
