I am applying for my citizenship this summer. I have been a Legally Permanent Resident (green card) since 1994. I am in the process of completing the N-400 Form but an issue arise. Part 7 of the form, is the questionnaire regarding Travel Outside of the US... "Question C - list below all the trips of 24 hours or more that you have taken since becoming a lawful permanent resident". The issue is that I don't remember when I have traveled outside the country.. I have traveled every 3 years or so to Europe... I have 2 expired passport but can make the dates on passports..

Do you think that I could list the past 5 years of traveling and at the interview show my passport to the interviewer?

I don't really know what to do here.... Thanks.

I believe it asks you mostly for the last 5 years so they can determine that you didn't break your continuous residence requirement.
For the dates check your passports and maybe emails of the companies where you bought the tickets (if they do exist).

I think you should list all the trips you can remember and then attach a separate sheet of paper to the n400 explaining that you have travelled many times in the past 20 years and that you don't remember all of your trips.

I don't think this is a big issue. The USCIS is mostly interested in your travel history in the past 5 years.

If you have an accurate record of the past 5 years, and can give approximate dates for some of the trips beyond 5 years along with an explanation, you should be OK.
