I had filed for an AOS (through my marrige to a US Citizen) in July and had filed for an EAD, AP etc. My AP was approved almost a month ago. Next week, it will be 90+days since my EAD was filed.
I have an infopass appointment to go to the Washington, D.C.(Fairfax) office to get an interim EAD. I am in a desperate situation as my job (H1-B) is over next week due to company being sold out and need an interim EAD to start a new position that I already have lined up...Does the Washington office still issue an interim EAD the same day??
Any other inputs that anyone might have - PLEASE do comment or send me a PM. I don't want to mess this up otherwise we will be in a very tough situation $ wise....
