Request of visa B2 at the same time as one green card

hello! My brother is an American citizen and he submitted a request of green card for me
I would like to go to the United States to know a little the country and to verify a refusal of saw opportunities for me
What is of what I can be afraid of seeing refusing visas
In the case of a refusal of visas B2 there what could be the consequences on my request of green card?
PS: I am pharmacyst and I am pregnant actually

I would not apply for a B2 Visa as it would be denied to you based on the fact that your brother has applied for a GC for you.

Denial of the B2 visa will have no effect on the GC process, if the denial is because of the GC petition or other indicators of immigrant intent. I suggest going ahead and applying for the B2.

FYI, Many pregnant women are refused entry at the point of entry. The US does not like "manufactured American citizens" especially in these times when the healthcare system is strained.
