I work with a New Jersey based company who has branch office in SD comes under Nebraska Service Center; I have following questions:-

1. They have filled my LC through SD branch ; do I need to file I-140 with Nebraska Service Center or Vermont Service Center?

2. If I want to file I-140 and I-485 together then where should I apply?

I was in a similar situation, I am not an attorney or an expert.

Advantage you hv is: you hv the option of doing LC at a place where the processing times are faster.
Right now, NSC seems to be best bet. Be happy that ur LC is done in NSC area.

Both 140 and 485 will go to the same center if you are planning to file concurrently.

Currently NSC is processing Jan, 03 for 140 cases and Aug, 01 for 485 case.
