request for expedited passport after K1 VISA approval

Hi Folks,

My K1 interview is on May 21 in New Delhi. Based on our tradition we want to get married on May 27. I need to travel to travel to USA on May 25.

I have already booked my tickets and have also mentioned on DS-156.

Assuming that I get the K1 approved,

1. can I request the officer verbally to expedite the passport delivery to VFS? I can then pick up the passport from VFS
personally.

2. do I also present a written request co-signed by my USC finacee? But the question is if this this going to work in our favor or not?

I am also in simmilar situation. Can anyone PLEASE suggest wat to do?

Even for me marriage date is so close to the date of interview.. What should I do?

New Delhi embassy says they cannot tell the time it will take to give the passport and papers back... it can be 3-4-7 days !!

Can someone suggest how to expedite?

how to convince them for earlier delivery of docs and passport????????????
