I would like to know what all questions are asked when a Green Card holder returns to the U.S. after two-year-period under re-entry permit.
My wife went to India two years ago under re-entry-permit to look after our old parents. She will be coming next week. During these two years, she has not submitted income tax returns, as she did not have any income from the U.S. . Does anybody know as to whether this is a problem? Particularly, will there be any questions regarding income-tax returns?
If anybody has experience with regards to returning to the U.S. after two-year-period under re-entry-permit, please give your suggestions and advises regarding the questions asked at the immigration counter.
