Request for 3rd FP received

I have just received a request for the 3rd FP, which is scheduled for Dec 23rd. I was checking the AVM if something has changed or not, the AVM message is changed. It says they have received the additional information (RFE on Dec 5). The message also says it is taking between 365 and 540 days to process this kind of case.

I don't really understand what is going on.
 
Similar experience here. Me and my wife had 2nd FP done on 08/12/03. Our I-485 cases were transfered to Missouri Service Center on 11/06/03. Today we recieved notice to do 3rd FP for my wife. The Notice is dated 12/01/03. The fingerprinting date is 12/30/03 at Hartford ASC.

minammmmm reported same experience. I don't know what's going on at VSC? Seems like some sofware bug !! :o :o :o OR not.

These INS officer's minds are competely fucked up. Those who cannot do anything else in their life end up doing this.
 
looks that few guys posted they got 3rd FP after their cases are transfered . Either local center may need another FP or this may be bug in their system who even transfers send them fp notice on the assumption that they have or will cross 15 months now.
 
I received a 3rd FP notice too. I did my 2nd FP last month, I had also received an RFE to which I have responded. The status is showing that they have received the RFE response.

Will talk to BCIS tomorrow.

VSC Expedite Criteria states - "When the BCIS has made an error in processing a case and that error has delayed the applicant's or petitioner's receipt of a lawful benefit."

Can we use this mistake as an excuse to request expedite processing?
 
I tried that they said case will be processed in normal time frame. Now what is normal time frame ? no definate answer . You may try to write and see what they reply...
 
I think you have Vermont Service center and it is for every one ESC . may be Eastern Service Service .
 
Just called BCIS and I was told to comply with the notice (unless it says duplicate). The customer service was not willing to discuss anything.
 
I also got 3-rd FP notice, even second done back to June 2003.

I called this morning to talk to Tier 2,
and they advised to to follow up with 3-rd FP.

They need to spend some our TAX money and pretend they are doing something...
