Reply to RFE

I am ready to reply to my RFE which is about doctors being original. I had a preprinted signature earlier.

My lawyer also asks me to include my last three months paystubs and last year tax return while replying to RFE though not being asked by INS. He says it is better to show them I am still with the same company.

Initially I have n't attached my tax returns with I-485 application. I have only attached copies of W2. Now I'm thinking of attaching tax returns too (tax Transcripts to be precise)

Is that alright ? Has anyone done this way.

Thanks

Hi Sajyra!

My suggestion---since you asked--give only what INS has asked for. IF you give 3 month pay stubs etc--nothing stops them from telling you to send 6 months instead....or finding some additional query in your paystub etc...

Anyway decision is yours!

The fact that your RFE contains only a request for doctor's original signature implies that INS is satisfied with all other documents submitted by you. This is the only query they had and normally they don't issue RFE's in instalments.
Therefore, it makes little sense to stick your head further deep into the lion's den.
Of course, there is the small matter of being on the good side of your lawyer too!

I agree with silentmember too. My RFE was employment based but my lawyer insisted on adding on information that was not required. So I Changed Lawyers!! Give what they want nothing more and certainly nothing else.
My advise to you will be if it's a really big law firm and your lawyer has tried hundreds of cases go with what he says. If he is a regular immigration lawyer with a few G.C. cases in between think before you do anything.
At the end of the day the decision is yours. And advises are worth the paper they are written on sometimes.

Thank you for all your replies.
I will try not to give any other info like recent paystubs etc. But, If my lawyer insists, I dont think I can afford to change my lawyer at this stage. I have to go with him.
