Hi guys,

I initiated an inquiry with USCIS Nebraska service center and following is the reply I got on 6th june 2006:

"The processing of your case has been delayed. A check of our records
establishes that your case is not yet ready for decision, as the
required investigation into your background remains open."


Do you think my case in stuck in name check or something else?

What will be best way to go about it now?

Details of my case are below:
I-485 RD 08/19/2005
FP Done: 01/04/06 No LUDs at all.
Priority dates: Current

i think its one of the security check which is pending!
 
Do you think it is similar to being stuck in Name Check or it is something not as severe as that? I really appreciated your prompt feedback
