I have been calling Congresswoman Norton's office for 8 months nowand have been hearing 2 months, 3 months for a few times. Last time I called the staffer she said she had tried but there was nothing more she could do. She said she would send an email and get back to me when she gets a response.
Anyways, yesterday I checked my LUD had changed from April to July 12, 2004 so I knew that someone must have looked at the case.
I got a voicemail freom the Congresswoman saying that my case was still being processed and it was with an officer and they were waiting for some "evidence" and once they had recieved it they would inform her. She said I should wait another 2 weeks within which they should be able to get the information.
Now, the 2 weeks is absolute garbage since I have been hearing that for many months. What is interesting is that my case is with an officer and they are still waiting for evidence. I had recieved an RFE back in June last year and have responded to them and they had it it September 2003. What other evidence does one wait for? Could it be possibility that I get another RFE?
