Hello Everyone,
I have a question, if you apply to replace your green card due to name change do they have to interview and ask for proofs?
I got the permanent resident due to my ex husband which was a USC.
But then after the divorce I got my name back to my maiden name.
Do they have to interview me again and ask for proof?
Thank you!

Aren't you going to apply for citizenship soon?

If yes, don't bother to replace the green card. Just carry the divorce decree showing your name change, for dealing with government offices or employers that need to see your green card.
